Happy Tails

Meet our adopted animals and their happy new homes! ABD is proud to say that all of the animals we’ve adopted out have found forever homes – we have never had an animal returned. These are their stories!

Honeybee and her family

Honeybee

We are pleased to announce that our first rescue, Honeybee, is doing fabulous in her new home! She enjoys walks with her dad and zoomies in her new backyard. Honey Bee came to be with ABD through a partnership with ASPCA where she and 28 other dogs were living on a dilapidated property in Arkansas, without adequate shelter, socialization, and in need of some medical care. What an amazing journey to her furever family!

Quinn and her family

Quinn

Quinn came to ABD after a concerned family on the far east side of Columbus contacted us about rescuing this little boy to find him a home. It was easy for ABD to see that Quinn was a perfect fit for foster to adopt with his fur mama and cat siblings. Quinn is adapting well to the indoor life, enjoys playing with his cat big brother and fur mama while exploring his furever home.

Chloe and her family

Rosemary (now Chloe)

Rosemary got to go home to her furever family! It has been an amazing journey from a farm girl to living in a barn to a relaxing family home with a mom, dad, daughter, 2 dogs and another cat! Rosemary is growing so quickly, she enjoys spending time with her with the little dog sibling and going camping with her humans.

Sage and his family

Sage

This fantastic boy came to ABD from our partner Gigi’s when Sage had to be rehomed when his owner was no longer able to care for him. Sage has come a long way with behavior development to finding his forever home with his amazing new fur dad! Sage is now comfortable using a crate, muzzle, and slowly getting to know his fur dad’s family including some human cousins!

Legolas and new home

Legolas

Legolas has been on an amazing journey starting from an outside tom to a domestic housecat. He has taught so many important lessons along the way, including how FIV+ cats can live long healthy lives even among FIV- cats. Legolas had time with our first external foster before getting to know his new family through a Foster-to-Adopt program. Now in his furever home with his fur mama and dad and brother cat Hooper, relaxing and living his best life!
